College seniors are encouraged to learn about the work of our host organizations and to learn about the FAO Schwarz Fellowship in social impact before applying. Each position is comprised of equal parts direct service and special projects.


DREAM provides inner-city youth with opportunities to Play, Learn, and Grow. DREAM uses the power of teams to coach, teach and inspire youth to recognize their potential and realize their dreams. (New York)


Generation Citizen works to ensure that every student receives an effective Action Civics education through direct engagement, by partnering with teachers and schools, and by advocating for Action Civics. (Boston)


Jumpstart provides language, literacy, and social-emotional programming for preschool children from under-resourced communities and promotes quality early learning for all. (New York)


Playworks is the leading nonprofit leveraging play as a tool to promote healthy behaviors, increase social/emotional learning and improve school climate. (Boston)

Year Up seeks to close the Opportunity Divide by providing urban young adults with the skills, experiences and support that will empower them to reach their potential through professional careers and higher education. (Philadelphia and New York)
